Hmm, sounds like a bad relay to me too. The way the relays usually fail,
however, is different: usually the transistor that carries the pump's
current burns up when the pump seizes, so that dies, but the rad. fan is
still turned on and off. In that case, you can simply replace the
transistor that blew.

I don't know how to test the relay, other than to find another type 44
with a working after-run system...
