Air Flow Meter free play?
I got around to checking the plunger and the air flow meter to see if
anything was sticking, everything runs smoothly. Although there are two
important positions for the air flow meter that need checking. I noticed
that the zero position seems to high. I can push the air flow meter
downwards about 2-3mm before it hits the sensor plate. Then the sensor
plate springs back upwards. The basic position is about .5mm upwards from
the resting position. This means that there are three positions of the
sensor plate. Although I may have had insufficient fuel pressure, but that
shouldn't effect the sensor plate zero position since the plunger is not
contacting the lever arm, why is there so much free play downwards, I
believe that isn't proper. Anyone?
Thanks!
