Sad but probably true.  It's fairly inconvenient to _get_ to the basic
engine these days - there are so many covers in the way.  We used to
file the little blue compression test graphs that came back after
services in Germany.

On the shim subject - Family Pictures 109-32 and 109-15 strongly suggest
that there are no lower spring seats on the 30V engines - the spring
just sits in the head.  Is the base of the spring modified in any way to
spread the load?

On illustration 109-30 clicking on the item number for the lower seat
raises an interesting response.
