If your O2 sensor is in good shape, it shouldn't cause jerking.  I can 
get it to do that with user programmable EFI, but that's only if I get 
the O2 feedback parameters screwed up royally.

No, low voltage is lean, 0.5 v = 14.7:1, and high voltage is rich.  BTW, 
on the I-5 turbo engine, about .8 is good for max HP.  If you start to go 
to .9v, that gets too rich and torque drops off.
