Those clips are strong. I found it easiest to use the end of a board to
press on the trim while pulling back on the grill with my hand. Snap!
The grill trim does fit over the edge trim on the light. It's tight, but
does snap over it. Also, there is a registration notch in the center of
the upper and lower trim parts that matches a bump in the grill for
centering. The turbo grill is screwed to the car in 3 places on the
bottom, one on the top as well as two clips on the top if I recall
properly. The rubber covered aluminum trim (called a gasket by the
fiche) that goes between the bumper trim and the grill can be purchased
new for about $25. My old one was cracked in several places. The new one
along with the new lights and the chrome all clipped on properly makes
the front of the car look new again.
