The Type 44 I'm buying has a disabled after-market (hairy kludge)
cruise control fitted but disabled. One of the cars Roger and I stripped
yesterday had a stock cruise control fitted, so I stripped out the
actuator rod and pump. The controller was already missing. But the
cruise control pump is separate from the other vacuum systems. It
_looks_ like the system would be a breeze to fit to a diesel car.
