FWD vs. urq fuel pump?

Does anyone know what the difference is between various flavors of
Bosch fuel pumps? 

I believe that my urquattro fuel pump is dying, so I replaced it with
a spare FWD Coupe fuel pump I had.  It helped with some of the problem
(i.e. duty cycle going to 92%, engine misfiring, no power, etc.),
but I still have the problem at high boost levels.  The part numbers
of the fuel pumps are different, so I am wondering if the urq fuel
pump provides a higher flow rate than the FWD pump.  If not, then
perhaps something else is wrong (clogged fuel filter, bad accumulator,
etc.).
