His friend probably swapped the loom.  Any turbo conversion worth doing
would be to a knock sensor engine - there's one difference for a start.

If you look at all the inputs a MAC11/12/14 requires from the engine,
there's just no way to do it with a stock 4kq loom.  You _HAVE_ to
transplant the engine management loom.

BTW - anyone ever gone through the "locally made loom" process?  It looks
like that's the only way to add cruise control wiring to a 100TQ.
