5kTQ exhaust upgrade??

Hey list.  I have got a holy exhaust system, and it's time for it to go!
What I would like to do is upgrade it with something more high
performance.  It's an 86 5kTQ, and I DON'T want it too loud.  I would like
to get rid of the couple of extra resonators on there though.  I know it
will be louder, that's okay, just don't want to sound like a ricey honda
civic.  Reccomendations?? 2 1/2", 3".  Brands, etc, etc.  Thanks for the
help, as always.
