I haven't gone back and checked my original remarks but if I wrote "944" I
meant "944T" ... the turbo makes a *BIG* difference on these cars as does the
LSD rear end. Last May, I drove by one for sale every day for a month and
had finally decided I was going to stop and check it out -- after a month,
most used-car lots are getting antsy to move the car and IME, more willing to
deal than usual -- but it wasn't there. I later met up with the new owner
and found out he paid a whopping $3,875 for the car -- I've seen people ask
nearly twice that for them! -- and said it was in great shape to boot.
<sigh> :^(
