Hey Mike. Well, that is sorta what I am thinking too. The visible motor
mount doesn't look cracked, but could be warn out (also, it's always the one
not visible.... by the turbo that goes first). Car has near 120K so it's
probably time. Tranny mounts didn't seem too bad but had some play. I
think I will change them all as soon as I get some $$$! ;^)

Oh sorry... Not sure what it's called, but that cylindrical thing with the
metering plate that tells the CIS how much fuel to dump in! Not sure what
it's called. I just remember that time we took the intake boot off mine and
what a nightmare it was to get it back on right!
Now what's wrong with flames??? Still trying to figure out how to get my
car to do that and make noises like the IMSA GTO. ;^)

I think I will check or just replace the motor/tranny mounts first and see
if that does it. You said that basically elliminated your problem. My
other thought is that it could be something related to the propshaft...like
the center carrier bearing or the center U-joint.
Later,
Dan
P.S. Yes, I figured it would be a two person job. One person to wedge
something in there and lift up the motor and one to replace the bushing.
