Jamie

When taking the distributor out I would make sure that the end of the
rotor is lined up with the notch on the distributor housing.  This
should be top dead center so install the new one in the same
position.    
It does not have to be timed to be exactly right on.  The computer will
adjust the timing for you.  Just make sure the rotor is pointing at the
notch on the housing.
