A couple of ideas, I'm others will add to these.
If you have spark and fuel then there must be a problem with mixture or
timing (dist. or cam).
Bring the timing mark on the flywheel to TDC check the rotor on the dist.
should point toward the little mark on the housing. Then check the mark on
the back of the cam sprocket, making sure it is aligned with the top of the
valve cover. Timing belts can slip.
Mixture, My favorite failure mode on these cars is the NTC temp sensor. I've
had them fail to high resistance and also to no resistance. When they fail
to close (no resistance) the mixture is usually too lean to start a cold
motor. I'm averaging about 80,000 miles on these.
Check for large air leaks between the metering head and manifold.
