Re: My 87 4000 cs It Dead



I'd be glad it's not the timing belt. It leaves a lot of options to explore, 
but it also rules out the total destruction of your valve gear because the 
crank still turned.

I don't know what it could be, you'd have to check for spark, the fuel 
system(although it doesn't sound like that). Does it knock at all?
