Ride quality isn't necessarily determined by a tire's ability to leap tall
curbs without rupturing and sidewall compliance is only one of several
factors that must be considered when trying to optimize it. You are trying
to simplify something that just isn't that simple and in the process, are
making large inferential leaps that aren't supported by the facts. Try
discussing this with some of the engineers you work with at Eurospec and see
what they have to say about this...
