Re: '86 4KQ vs. "86 Honda Accord
Chiming in here...
My mom had an '85 Accord that she bought in 88 with 13k miles.
My sister now owns it in Phoenix with over 140k on it.
The car needed it's first replacement auto trans at 60k miles.
Then the torque converter went a year later.
It has needed several other not insignificant repairs over the years.
My personal favorite is the leaking steering rack. ;-)
Although it has never had a window or door handle problem.
I've had less trouble with all 6 of my Audis collectively. Knock on
Zebrano...
Leaving early AM for Colorado to find a place to live.
So of course I'm sitting at the computer at 2:10am talking about Hondas.
Tomorrow night: Columbia, MO.
I should be back in Greenville next Monday or earlier.
In the meantime, no email (horrors!)
If any of you Colo Springs listers want to get together, leave me your
number at 864-213-9269.
I'll get back to you.
