RE: Playing in Pueblo
Thanks for you input Orin.
>Did you hit the rev limiter?
I don't think so. At the start I was shifting around 5500-6000,
and then later I was shifting at 5000-5500. I might have though,
I do remember a couple of times exiting turn 9 where I noticed
a slight hesitation, nothing like the fuel pump being cut because
of excessive boost, but a slight stumble. I could have hit the
limiter on the H/T downshift from 4th to 3rd.

I have run the car against the rev limiter before, but not recently.

Not yet. But I can test it out.

On both the ur-qs we were getting a zzzzzzing sound on rapid
acceleration, like 2nd or 3rd gear WOT. I was at first worried
that is was pinging, but we thnk we have it traced to the expansion
and movement of the exhaust system, we think it is rubbing on
the rear axle flange. It is a very audible sound, I wonder if it could
be transmitted back up through the exhaust/manifold/head and
fool the knock sensor?

I will check over the dist and hall sender. Is there an update to
the MAC11 s/w "available"?
Thanks again
