    Even if this was a feasable swap (that it fit), you are not talking about 
a huge leap in performance over the torquey, high compression, big valve 
I5..about a 6 horsepower gain if you installed the 2.0 liter 16v.  First off, 
the 16v motor sits transversly in the compartment, and the I5 sits 
longitudinally.  Thus, the block would have to be drilled and tapped to 
accept the audi mounts.  Im not really sure if the tranny would bolt up 
either (anyone?)  Basically, for the work/effort, a 20v N/A or a turbo motor 
could be installed for much greater power gains.  Just my 2 cents...   ;)
