Changing Coolant + Removing Thermostat
The procedure for getting all the coolant out of the car involves
removing the thermostat. So I checked the Bentley and no procedure listed
but looks very simple. There is what looks like a gasket or seal between
the coolant pump and the thermostat flange or maybe a seal inside with the
thermostat. Does that need to be replaced, gasket?
Also when I get the bumper off and get the thermostat flange off does
the coolant have a clean path to the ground? Any more removing involved?
To empty the whole entire system is removing that flange the way to do
it, or should I drain radiator seperately by removing the lower hoses, tell
me it all! Also flush with water is good?
Thanks again!
