Sounds like one of the check valves in your brake servo is sticking. You
may want to disconnect and plug the vacuum line which goes from the inlet
manifold to the brake servo then drive the car a bit and see if the problem
still persists (Be careful! You won't have any brake assist if you do this
and the brake pedal will be HARD to press!). Getting a used servo from a
junkyard is probably the best idea. Vacuum servos do not fail often.
