'88 80 Engine Power loss

Ok...here we go...I am noticing that my 80 is bogging down on power from the 
engine.  I am having to 'put the pedal to the metal' to go from 50 to 60 in 
5th gear.  Also the cruise control cannot keep the car at speeds over 55mph. 
  The tach reads as it didbeofe the problems, so I do not believe it is in 
the tranny, and the engine does not seem to be missing out.  So, I think it 
is a fuel problem, but I am not possitive if you have any advice I would 
appreciate it.
