Any BTDT's custom SS exhaust?

I was in my local parts store last night asking about the prices of 304SS
exhaust tubing for my CGT project. I'll be mating up to a 4kq downpipe w/
no cat. In the back will be 1 Borla Turbo muffler. My choices for going
over the rear axle beams are with either a boatload of cut up and spliced
together mandrel bent 304SS pipe pieces, or some flexible 304SS exhaust
tubing.

Here's the list of +'s and -'s I've come up with:
Mandrel Bent Pipe:
+ Rigid
+ Good seal between connections
- Measuring curves and angles accurately
- More Expensive - will probably require 2 different radii pieces
- Many connections
- Gonna take forever to do right

Tubing
+ ID Same as OD of pipe
+ Easy to put into place
+ Only one measurement
+ Cheaper
+ Two connections only
- Not rigid - will require welding a piece of stock SS to keep everything
from swinging wildly
? Longevity

If I had the choice I'd just take it to a custom exhaust specialist;
however, the car's getting a brand new engine built by me, and I want the
exhaust in place so I'll stand a chance of hearing any problems in the
engine on startup before something truely bad happens.

Any BTDT's with either? Recommendations?

Thanks,
Alan
