Re: Fluctuating Idle Still

I no longer run a ISV on my ride. My old autobox with 2 bar never killed
an ISV. My current ride is a 5 speed. Presumably, the blow by on shifts it
what kills the valve. I went through three. Now, I have the lines plugged
and am going to use the pre throttle line for the Audi bypass valve.

Adjusting idle is dependent on the temperature outside. Starting is rough
sometimes and car hesitates. Rectified through the CO screw. Will clean
out throttle body and screw housing because of accumulation of residues.
That will make a big improvement.

I have found that on boost (esp. modified cars around 1.3 bar and above
and 1.7) will seem to almost miss and not have the right amount of power.
I've found that the CO screw (with and without the ISV) has been
responsible for my headaches. Just trial and error for the right amount.
With an ISV, I normally ran my screw closed and backed 1/8 turn.
Inspection revealed ALL outputs well below limits.

Soon, I will be adding enrichment and leaning valves for the cockpit to
complement the wastegate controller. This will allow fine tuning of idle,
enrichment and leaning in dynamic and static (idle) states from within the
car. The valves will not disturb the fuel system. Rather, it will be all
pneumatic (like the wastegate) type bypasses. Very simple and effective.

I tried unplugging the ISV, re setting the idle, switching ignition off, re plugging ISV then re starting car. Guess what same problem. If I un plug the ISV and run the car everything is fine even on re starting a couple of times. Can someone explain in simple terms a procedure for testing this POS, otherwise I will be testing it with my engineers hammer, size large and go buy another one.
