The 4000 and the Quantum GL-5 are essentially the same drivetrain, and I'm
assuming the 4000CS Quattro and the Quantum Synchro tranny are the same as
well, although I think the Synchro AWD system works a little different than
Quattro.  I think it's a VC system or something while Quattro is, well
Quattro!  ;^)

The 5000 non-turbo quattro might share the same tranny, but I think the
5000CS turbo quattro is a different beast altogether!  It has the 016 tranny
which it shares in common with the Porsche 944/ Porsche 944 turbo!
