Huh?
Doesn't the 944 tranny reside in the BACK of the car?  The Porsche system
uses a driveshaft tube which sends torque from the front mounted engine to
the rear mounted transaxle.
Are you sure these trannies are the same?  The 944 isn't even 4wd.
