Great Audi dealership in Nashville -- NOT!

Thought I'd share with the rest of the q-list. Due
to the ongoing problems with my two '87 5KQs I went to
Nashville last weekend to look for something to drive.
Stopped at Thoroughbred Motorcars, where I'd purchased
both my quat and my wife's SAAB 9K turbo. We looked at
all the stuff on the lot and I'd decided to ask about
the sharp looking SAAB 9000 Aero.
Sales guy approached as I was looking at two 900
convertibles. "May I help you?" "Well, actually, I have
been trying to find a used Audi 90." And before I could
finish the sentence and ask about the Aero he said, "We
don't have any of those," then walked away.
Guess that will teach me, huh? Sure made me want
to buy another car there.... FWIW the Volvo dealership
in Franklin was a completely different story. Went out
of their way to help me find something on the lot. Did
pick out a '90 525I for my wife, but I'm still in the
"almost walking" state.
As much time, effort, money, and affection as I've
invested in the two big quats I hate to change horses.
There are no decent ones available within a reasonable
distance of here. :-( So I'm not sure what to do.

     Later.
