Hmmm... sometimes known as "victory series" me thinks.
I assume this is for the 5-cylinder or is it the 4-cylinder?
Just curious 'cos I have a few boxes here along the lines
of the 016 UW gearbox. Fourth is 0.93:1 and 5th is a hefty
jump to 0.684:1 with final drive set at 0.389:1. Gearing should
max out at redline at around the 300km/h region which would
make for some really nice highway cruising rpm levels of about
120km/h @ under 3000rpm.

What does the normally aspirated car drive like in top gear?
My UW is destined for my 200. I have the option of a 5-speed
from an A6, but the CAR magazine indicated the box would top
out at 236km/h or something like that at redline in the A6/100
2.8 V6 12-valve. Fourth in the UW is not short of the 5th in
the A6 (which looks to be an 016 as well). Is that top speed
at redline in the 2.8 V6 100/A6 figured out correctly? The test
got some 212km/h or so out of the car.
