    I haven't been following this, so a question: have you pulled the error 
codes? If you crank the engine for 5 seconds without the engine starting you 
will be able to pull error codes by bridging the fuel pump relay.
    Another thought, I understand that some of the later cars have a fuse to 
the ECU, like the 4Ks do. It's not in with the rest of them, it's off to the 
side like a spare fuse. Look in all the "spare" fuse slots in the fuse box 
under the hood. One or more will have connections for a fuse. 
    Third item, check the ground wires to the engine. There is one that goes 
from the top of the manifold to the ECU. If this one is corroded the car will 
run, barely, at idle but not when you give it any throttle. There is one on 
the back of the head that connects to the firewall. Usually the car will not 
start if this ground is bad. There is also a ground to the driver's side 
engine mount.

    That's the simple stuff I can think of at the moment.
