No warm up regulator, the car has CIS-E. Warm up enrichement and idle
functions computer controlled via control pressure actuator (grey box on
front of fuel dist.) and idle stabiliser valve, silver cylinder sticking
out of intake boot over cam cover. both have parameters that can be
measured and messed up by adjusting.

I would examine basics before doing any adjusting.

1. separate and clean all electrical connections under hood.

2. look at normal "tune up" parts, cap, rotor, plugs, measure wires,
etc.

Check for leaky, soft, crakcing, etc hoses.

When you do the injectors you'll be replacing a handful of cheap plastic
and rubber parts that can also make little air leaks.
