... upgrade?  Funny, when I heard it was possible to adapt the springs to
use struts I popped the trunk on the V8 to see if I could downgrade it!
Unfortunately I found that my car doesn't have the proper mounting points
for the springs, so I guess I'll just have to watch my head ... :-)
