The rock issue is one that I thought of as well, but two things about
this:  1, rocks that come toward it will need to be deflected off the
scoop to hit the IC, thus slowing it down some, 2, if it turns out to be
an issue, just put some lite mesh wire in front of the inlet....  I'd hate
to do this though since in would hurt flow :-(

The oil changing problem isn't an issue since it looks like I could pull
this off just AFTER the oil pan.


Thanks for the comments....  others care to take a shot?  I'm interested
in hearing all the minuses people can think of...
