Yea, it was fun. Thats for sure. :-) We do that often. We did
a twin 84' 4kq duel with a new lister (Dave) from Spokane the other
day. That was fun. ANd then did a 4ktq vs. 454 Suburban (massaged
Chevelle 454 thats about 450hp right now). THe 454 KILLED me off the
line but once in 3rd gear I really started reeling him in. Was 3-5 car
lengths in front by 80mph. But up to 45 that 7,000 lb beast
screams. Man, serious torque is kind of fun. :-)

Well, the 4.2 is MUCH better than the Auto 3.6 but the 5-spd will outrun
the 4.2 any day. Its really easy to click off 6.5sec 0-60times with
it. It does have an exhaust and an K&N but man does it fly. We get low
to mid 6's witht he S4 too but as its much harder to launch. A LAZY
launch with the V8 gets high 6's. Lazy in S4 is low 7's.

Ahh, now your talking. I've ridden in Neds BEAST many times. FAST
car. THat thing does 80-120 like most cars do 20-80. Or something like
that. But at 80 it plants you FIRMLY in the seat. ANd in 1st gear, once
(the ONLY time he's ever floored it in 1st that I remember) my hat flew
off and hit the back window. COOL. Granted, its massaged a little more
than the average 20v motor but its sure fun.
