Tickets issued in Finland are calculated using your income.  Any ticket for
under 20km/h you get by with a fixed fine of around USD 100.  Anything over
that really hurts, its not unheard of to get tickets in the neighbourhood of
USD 1-2K.

My last speeding ticket cost me arund CAD 40.00 in 1991.  Since then I've
got 8.5 years of ticket-free driving here.  It was not the same back in
Canada...
