Re: Final Word Fuel Pump Brand
I replaced 2 pumps with Bosch replacements in the last 2 years and I got a
slightly better price ($180), but no warranty, and I had to pay shipping (but
no tax). I also had to wait a few days. As for noise, mine were noisy right
out of the box. Just like my 87 Dorf pickup and wife's 93 Dodge. I thought
they were SUPPOSED to be noisy. It is an electric motor in a barrel of
liquid. When mine started to fail they got REALLY noisy, like hear them
across the street with the engine running. Thanks for the price tip on the
pump though. I just hope Autozone doesn't get bought out or merge 3 or 4
times in the next few years like Western Auto/Parts America/Advance Auto/?.
Try telling the monkey lad your lifetime warranty with a company HE never
heard of should be honored. Oh well, good luck.
