My turn... I have a solid lifter 2144 engine, with a very nice solid
lifter turbo camshaft in it.

The long term plan is to rebuild a 2.3 NF and use it when I wear out,
drown, or blow up the WE - but then the cam question arises.

I suppose a performance cam at about $500 is one possibility.

Then there's using a hydraulic lifter turbo engine cam.

but swapping the head of the NF to solid lifters to use the cam I
already own would be worth researching, at least.

So I am still watching the posts as they turn up for the "answer"!
