Some of the OTHERS on the list are real wizards, Thomas, but the best of
them still need to know which model '87 5K Audi your parents drive to offer
specific suggestions for performance problems.
I can tell you the coolant reservoir level sensor can be quite finiky. A
half inch difference in coolant level can make it light up the warning
signal. I'd begin by adding some mixed coolant.
