1986 Model Year - notes to Wiring Diagram 22
- The main diagram does not identify the pin assignments for the rpm sender (G28) and timing position sender (G4). These are 3-2-1 in both cases, left to right. The diagram also suggests that the shield connection - the leftmost in each case - is connected to the sender. This is not the case - pin 3 should be open-circuit to both pins 1 and 2.
- The main diagram shows F25 in track 80 as "normally open". This is incorrect - it is "normally closed" and opened at full throttle to de-energise N54, the full load enrichment solenoid.
- Unbelievably, the entire X-relay circuit - including fuse 12 - has been omitted. The X-relay is in the main fusebox slot 5 and is energised by the X contact on the ignition switch, powering the X rail from the 30 rail. Consult the 1985 diagrams.
