I have to say I've always found it ironic that listers, claiming (or
acting like) a reminder is a personal attack- respond with personal
insults.
Audifans has rules which have not changed for years, based off common
internet email and newsgroup etiquette and experience. Please
explain how being reminded to follow those rules, on a site which is
free and run by volunteer efforts- constitutes arrogance? Further,
explain to me how ignoring rules, arguing when asked to follow them,
and inferring you know better than people who have been doing this
for a decade- does not constitute arrogance?

Digests, which are supposed to go out daily, also have a size limit-
and long messages will trigger extra digests unnecessarily if those
messages were long simply because people kept quoting pages of past
emails. It's not just our bandwidth (which is donated, and will
cease to be if Audifans makes a nuisance of itself), but that of
readers- not everyone has a cablemodem. It's not just physical disk
limitations- not trimming replies makes effective indexing more
difficult, polluting search results.
