[V8] ECU code II

I would not cut any hoses Dave.

The canister purge is how the gas tank vents - and you need it hooked up.
If you just cut the hoses, you will have a pretty good sized vacuum leak.
My advice is to figure out what is broke and fix it. I am pretty sure all you
have to do is remove the coolant expansion tank to get at the valve, but maybe
there is more to it than that. I would bet this is a generic part - and
therefore should cost less than a new Hyundie (not mis-spelled :-)
As for engine management, you can bet the ECU expects to see a certain amount of
 air entering the motor through this path.
