>From postings in the past, I gathered that the Quattros with
summer tires on them are not safe in winter. Experienced this
in today's snow here. My 5kCSQT skidded badly while changing 
lane - I have 205/60/R15, not in their best condition, and had
a little low tire pressure too. The car skidded worse than my
626 would have with regular tires on it. 
Looks like I cannot defer purchasing winter tires. 
What tires would you suggest? I know this can be found from the
archives but I'm one of those underpreviliged ones who cannot
access the archives despite being a member.
