Well, it depends...... If the 86 has the covetted 2 piston calipers, it is
a direct swap, chance are tho, that the 87 5ktq has the duals and the 86 has
the singles..... The pads I believe are interchangeable, but the carrier,
the rotor and the caliper are all matched to the single or dual
configuration..... Rebuild the dual pistons on the 87, it is considered an
upgrade to the single..... The rotors are not interchangeable to the
caliper/carrier, and the later dual piston brakes have more cooling holes
than the singles......
