Ok Andrew,

I'll back you up on this one....

P500s are loud on dry pavement, decent dry traction.
Decent in Snow. Decent Rain tire.

Go for the Dunlop D60A2 instead.  That's what I replaced the P500s
with.  They are quiter and much better wet/dry traction.  Although the 
P500s did have marginally better snow traction.

This is all on an 89 100 Avant.
