It is NOT just a coincidence.  Minor correction--it is an insurance 
industry thing in Germany.  Apparently (according to European Car, 1/196 
issue) the German insurance industry changes insurance ratings 
drastically above 193hp.

Sam European Car also said that the 1.8T has been dyno tested around 
270+hp.  Sounds like an aftermakret dream to me.  Ned ritchie, jo Hoppen, 
are you listening?
