that may be true, but not when you consider that the BMWACA-Puget Sound
chapter puts on driver schools (much the same as QCUSA's 1st day) and track
days (QCUSA day 2) for $65/day. my understanding is that QCUSA (and Kent)
get a significant "fee" for their services--don't know the details here. i
know they threatened to cancel PIR in the past when they didn't get 24
cars--that works out to $6000 gross--PIR costs $1500/weekend during the
offseason (when QCUSA is there). other costs to think about: insurance,
instructors, corner workers, ambulance...yes they cost $$$ but $4500?
afterall, all these things were there at the BMWACA events (except
instructors--local club members). anyone know what other club schools are like?
