Speedometer cable. Reach your hand around behind & unscrew it (half turn.)
Or, have somebody sit in the car & push the dash cluster back & forth while
you watch under the hood. You'll see a cable moving back & forth near your
brake master cylinder, see if you can re-route the cable in the engine
compartment to give you some more slack. I suppose you could unhook it from
the trans, but that would be really silly...
