My 4kCSQ developed a leak in the flexible line between the master and
slave cylinder near that mileage mark.  That could be the problem if you
are losing brake fluid.

If you are not losing brake fluid, the seals could be leaking in your
master or slave cylinder.

My 4kCSQ always had the same feel and response except for when I needed to
replace that hose.

A way to test the leaking hose theory is to wrap it in Aluminum foil,
depress the clutch a dozen times, then look inside the foil for any brake
fluid.
