ROUGH DAY!

It was a LOOOONG day, just to get my exhaust installed today. 
 
To make a long story shortened, VW gutted my old exhaust, and found my 
replacement Ansa mufflers did'nt fit. I was left with having the car 
tower to a local muffler shop. Basically, after running back and fourth 
around town on foot, trying to beat towtrucks, chasing after an old 
girlfriend on foot who was riding a bike, and having a pissed off VW 
service manager at me, MY MUFFLER IS FIXED! :)
 
So now I have an 84 5000s with NO catalytic converter, a single Ansa 
resonator, miles of straight pipe, and an chrome Ansa end pipe sticking 
out almost 6 inches from the back of the car. Not to mention the HOWL IT 
MAKES! HHAHAHHAH! I LOVE IT!!!!! WOOOO!!!! 

I still have a ticking in the exhaust somewhere. I'm guessing its the 
exhaust manifold gasket. Damnit. I'll take it back to the muffler shop 
tomorrow and let them do their wonders. They amaze me with their speed! 
 
To hell with the local VW/Audi dealership. I'll stick to the small shops 
and the aftermarket.
