Re: fault CODES HELP! please (POSSIBLE ANSWER!!!!)

Rob,

Dug deeper in the Bible ( I mean Bentley manual); found the following
statement:

" If the fault warning light blinks while driving, knock regulation is at
it's
maximum control limit"

Stop using panther piss for fuel and throw some 93 octane Amoco
or Exxon in the beast, then see what happens.

Sorry, in haste I forget. It is an 88 90. I redid the process today
w/o the engine stalling on me and came up with no faults ( I went down
to Barnes n Noble and looked up the codes for it ;) )
But, I am still stumped as why my check engine light will come on when
the car is hot and sitting in traffic. Once I get moving it goes away.
 BTW, its the 10valve engine.
 Thanks
