Re: Eliot, what pads do you use?
now only 1135 messages to go (i kid you not)...a few things to do in the
last week or so, but i did see this thread :)
Anthony--good memory. front p/n is 419, rear is 228 (these are the industry
standard FMSI numbers, but only a few folks cut pads in these shapes--pagid,
porterfields, pauric, and cool carbon are the ones that i know of, the last
three seem to be very similar--carbon-kevlar with ceramic heat shields, but
i don't know if their compounds are the same. porterfields are available in
two compounds--street (R4S) and squeaky (R4)--i have street. cold
performance is good, but overall bite not as good as the Pagid RS4-2 (blue)
that I had before. don't know what R4 would be like.
