Ignition lock cylinder replacement ?

I did it on a 1982 80S. The details were documented in the Haynes manual,
which I gave away with the car. Basically, you have to demount the upper
section of the steering column from the car (which involves drilling out the
head of the shear bolt with an 8.5mm drill) and then drill into the housing at
a precisely measured location so as to hit and push back the cylinder retaining
pin. The measurements were given in the Haynes manual, but aren't in the
microfiche and thus won't be in the Bentley. Don't forget to clamp the upper
and lower sections of the steering column together with self-gripping pliers
when you remount the top section. You'll need a new shear bolt, obviously.
I took the new cylinder and the old keys to a locksmith and they waved a magic
wand over it.
